Hola desde Santiago!

(hi from Santiago for the linguistically challenged)

Hello to all! Finally got my ass into gear to post something from our new homeland (for a bit). Santiago is hot, smoggy but i love it... Today a dirty old man saw me walking past and seductively licked his lips. Only in Chile. Yuck! LOL... but Grant is enjoying the entertainment on the buses (people get on to sell all sorts of things - like ice blocks, band aids, drinks, and some provide actual performances: we´ve seen rappers and poets go off on the bus trip into town) - so never a dull moment!

The food here is sooooo good, i can see G and I getting fat very quickly, so we are making an effort to keep active and thus keep the rolls at bay (so far so good). Can´t go running where we´re currently staying cos of all the feral dogs with possible rabies that can run after you and bite. But our new place, which we move into on Feb 1st, is right next to a big park, it´s uptown and on the edge of the city so no feral dogs posing threats! So I can start running again.

A huge THANK YOU to all of you who could make it on friday (friday the 13th, ooooooh!!), and to those who missed it, well - we'll have to make up for it when the Eirth World Tour wraps up.

Apologies in advance if you don't like the way you look in these pics, but let's face it: that's the way you ALWAYS look after a few drinks (just a thought)... Also, some of these pics reflect the state of the photographer as the night went on- see if you can work out which ones these are.
